Nashville, TN has a huge number of neighborhoods, each of which appeals to different age groups and demographics. The real estate in Nashville is quite varied – from historic homes located close to the city center, to modern high rise apartments, peaceful rolling farmland, and everything in between.
The real estate industry is growing rapidly in Nashville, and there are more and more new homes being built. This means that there are plenty of options for everything from young families to single professionals. Urban living is becoming a popualr option too, with some stunning one-bedroom condos, and spacious penthouses, being built near the Cumberland River.
Downtown Nashville features The District – a 16 block area for dining and entertainment. The Viridian is a 305 unit condo that is being built on the Church Street Corridor. There is also Cumberland on Church – a new 23 story high rise.
A little further outside the city center is The Gulch – which is a hip and up and coming area with some great dining and retail, and that has several luxury condo projects, including Velocity, ICO and Terazzo.
Outside of the downtown area, you will find an eclectic mix of buildings in Germantown, with a mixture of 19th century developments and modern projects, as well as converted factory spaces that now make great lofts for artists looking to live in cheap but chic accommodation.
East Nashville is another area that the creatives love, with lots of historic neighborhoods offering comfortable accommodations at a nice price, away from – but still close enough to reach – the bustle of Nashville proper.
12 South is a bustling neighborhood with families, students and singles living in close proximity, offering something for everyone, with some shopping and dining nearby too.
