As you are traveling through the state of Tennessee, you might wonder where you want to stop. There are many entertaining places that you can visit. For example, if you are a fan of the country music singer Dolly Parton, you should stop by Dollywood which is a place that she operates and owns. Other places such as Nashville get millions of visitors every year, and so does Memphis. However, you might wonder where you should begin and here are a few ideas on what you should do if you ever do get a chance to go to the state of Tennessee.
The Tennessee Theater
This is located in Knoxville. It is a city that is located on the eastern side of the state, close to Asheville in North Carolina. It is a destination where you can do many different things, but if you can catch a show at the Tennessee Theater, it will be one that you will remember. After you are done in Knoxville, goes southwest and head into the city of Chattanooga.
Places To See In Chattanooga
There are songs that use the name of the city, and you can go to places like the Tennessee Aquarium and also the River Gallery. It’s a low-key city, one that has a lot of nice parks and places that are fantastic if you travel during the spring and summer. Chattanooga is simply a wonderful place to visit if you have the time to spend hours walking around the beautiful countryside.
Finally, you should end up in Nashville at the end of your trip. You may want to head over to Memphis if you want to see Graceland. However, Nashville has so much to offer. You can take Segway tours of the city, go to the Country Music Hall of Fame, and get to know this place that has produced so much of the country music that we know and loved. RCA Studio B is another attraction that you will be happy with. Once you are done with Nashville, you could probably revisit some of the other cities, or pick a smaller one such as Pigeon Forge and complete your trip with Smoky Mountain Opry. There is just so much more to do, but you can come back multiple times. Find out when you can go and start to look forward to a beautiful time in Tennessee.
